Sweet Little Lies
Lauren Conrad
309 Pages

In hollywood, nothing is real. Everything is superficial and put into the hand of the media. So it didn't surprise Jane, living in the wonderful hollywood life, was chosen to film her daily life in a reality show. Along the ride, you uncover the secret of the glamourous life of hollywood, where everyone has their own motives. The protagonist, Jane, is just a regular level headed girl that just wants to live her life as a normal California girl, and just have fun with her friends. But not everything is sunny fun in California. Her sneaky co-star and "friend" uses her fame to her best advantages and sells inside stories to the tabloid. Jane has to learn the hard way who her real friends are.
This book has fascinated me, since I am a fan of the author's, Lauren Conrad, show The Hills, and it was really interesting to enter the media world, where the producers of the show, texted the cast to communicate and start drama. Sometimes it makes me wonder what is really real in the media.
Written in different character's perspective, you really enter learn the characterization of each characters and their motives. Conrad has really found a topic that is controversial enough, to interested the reader to keep reading and it was really written well done.
