Well, this is the third time I've attempted to write this review. Goodreads is not being very cooperative right now. Anyway, like all of Menolly's stories, I enjoyed this one. I admire her character. Also her stories are a break from the main plot, so there's a chance for some action packed, alternate tales. One conflict that I'd been interested in from Harvest Hunting didn't get resolved to my satisfaction though. It was left at the end of the last book and skipped over in this one, with just a passing reference to it being dealth with. I wanted to see that one played out. But now there's a new unresolved conflict that I'm anxious about and must eagerly await the next book for.
