I wasn't sure how I was feeling about this book in the beginning but, honestly, it was hard to put down. I enjoyed the twists and turns that left me filling in the blanks with my own ideas. F.L.Block has a way of pulling out a central piece of a person and allowing them to face it. Even if we don't fit the character to a T, there are always aspects of the character that we may see a self reflection in. She allows pain to live and breathe enough to invite beauty and love back into the heart. I love her love of music, food, nature, and beauty which is always included in her writings. This is a fantastic read.
