Need by Carrie Jones

If you are fans of novels about fey folk and shifters and a sweet hint of romance, young-adult style, then you should like this.

I don't know what is going on with me, but recently it gets harder and harder to find an amazing young-adult book. And I feel as if all are made into series to spin yams for money or fame. I don't know.

What I do know is that this is a really nice read. Enjoyable, interesting. Not perfect, but real good. What bugged me was Zara - her tendency to fall into extremes. One minute she's all shocked and scared and screaming about all surrealistic things, and the next she's fascinated by and cuddling with them. I understand shock, but that was ridiculous reactions on her part, and then acceptance the next second? It really annoyed me, though I did like the part about her being a runner, and mourning her stepfather so much.

Nick was a very well developed character, and so were Bettie, Is and Devyn.

All in all, I'm happy with this book XD
