A princess is inflicted with a curse. One where she would sleep for eternity, unless the spell is broken by a kiss of a prince.
A prince comes and bestows his lovingly affections to the lovely princess. When I say lovingly affections, I mean, him ruining Beauty's dress with a sword, raping her(she was asleep, and she doesn't give permission, which I call rape) and then giving her a kiss.
The thought (aside from the rape part), is absolutely romantic for me. I could already imagine all that the prince had to endure to save the princess, which is absolutely amazing for my standards.
Anyway, despite the rape and all the nakedness Beauty had to endure, I had continued hoping that Anne Rice could offer me something sweeter.
But alas, my expectations were not met.
There is nothing sweet in this story. And I have no idea how I was able to finish this.
Thus I could say no more, because up to now, I am still having shivers just thinking of the cruelty every slave had to endure, and the taste of anus, which unfortunately, Anne Rice described in graphic detail.

LOL! Sorry for laughing at your distress, Jasmin, but didn't you know that this book is pure erotica without a hint of romance? It's definitely not for the faint of heart. ;)

I was deceived by the title :))

@kyrie, haha, i did read every part of it. it goes against me to not finish a book. but in this case, it took me a lot of effort and courage to finish it.
I'm so disappointed that you gave a great book like this only 1 star.Licking the anus of a love partner is a perfectly legitimate eroticism, just like eating his/her feces. Or peeing in his/her face. Even Holywood movie stars do them (borrow my books of these true-to-life escapades from K.D.).

I'm doing a re~read of this, I would like to say that it's a book about a BDSM journey and not an erotic romance as such, so if anyone is considering reading it they should bear that in mind. Reading it from a BDSM view point this time, although my experience in reading BDSM and therefore properly understanding it is quite limited, and after reading a couple of books which are BDSM but not erotic romance I'm finding I understand it more so than when I read it from an erotica story POV. Beauty herself is a very powerful and strong character and one I actualy admire for her strength.
@adriene, I dont think i want to relive the experience :P@Dina, I have to agree with Dhes that we do love you. but, i have to agree w/ east as well, that we love your reviews LOL :)
