What a cute little book! I picked this up in between heavier books just for fun when I saw the ARC copy at my mum's house. If I had kids, I would definitely suggest they read it. While it's only the first in the series, it has me hooked, and I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for later installments. I'll also be making sure my library adds it to its JF selections.

My only qualm, and the only reason it earned four stars instead of five, was some of the phrases in the book. I felt they were probably too technical at times for the targeted age group, as I was left scratching my head and doing a quick google search for some specific sailing terms.

Otherwise, very enchanting, and I can't wait to see what happens next!
