Nice little slice of history. Helpful for filling in my many gaps in understanding. A little bit of nautical warfare, ground warfare, and politics all mixed in. Plus, a touch of Waterloo to boot.

Danzaiss If your into early american history, I recommend: The War That Made America: A Short History of the French and Indian War, by Fred Anderson. I read it last year and liked it. It expanded my understanding of the conditions that lead to the American revolution.

Scot Marvin Nice! Thanks for the tip Dan. I'll go check it out.
