Nice balance between Henrietta the person and the HeLa cells. The medical part was fascinating. I was completely unaware of how much the cells of one person contributed to medical research, as well as how little control any of us have over what happens to our cells after something as simple as a blood test. Interesting, complex ethical dilemma.

The book skips around a lot, the start of each chapter has a timeline with a notation of where that chapter falls, which made it easy to keep everything straight.
