An enjoyable and interesting book. I thought the earlier chapters were much stronger. It is a book written for the intelligent layperson, not a scientist or philosopher. As such, there were technical details that were papered over or ignored, vagueness in definitional terms, and rampant assumptions. Nevertheless, it brings forward some intriguing data about the minds of babies.
