Another amazing book by Emily Giffin. The story is written in alternating point of views between 2 women, Tessa and Valerie, both of whom are very believable characters. Tessa is married to Nick, a pediatric surgeon who meets Valerie one night when her son, Charlie was an accident. In that one night, the lives of these 3 individuals and their families are put to the test. Without giving the plot away or sharing too many details, the book definitely gave me mixed emotions of joy, sadness, and hope.
