Book 1 of my all time favorite trilogy. Nobody compares to Nora Roberts when it comes to series. She takes her characters, locations, and story lines to a much higher level, in my opinion, than other authors do.

The setting is Ireland. There's Maggie, a strong willed and determined artist, Rogan a wealthy gallery owner who is determined to have Maggie and her art. Throw in a sweet, innocent sister, and bitter Mother, and you've got the beginning of a great series.

I have read this series many times over the years and I have never tired of it.
