I made it through the first couple hundred pages of Swann's Way. I'll probably revisit it in the future.

My favorite parts were the little vignettes Proust weaved with the characters in his town and in his house. Really funny stuff. My least favorite parts were the interminable descriptions of buildings, particularly the multi-page description of the cathedral. Can you tell that's where I stopped?

Elizabeth I have tried to read Proust probably 4 times now and have yet to get past the first 50 pages. The page long sentences kill me.
