"A Man Named Dave" so far has been the best of Dave Pelzer's books that I have read. This book tells more about how he escaped the situation he was in, how he made it to the Air Force and how still his mother haunted his soul and every day life. He had to overcome his fear of her even as an adult to continue living his life. He marries, has a son, but still struggles. He has to deal with his father's death and finally confronts his mother in this book. He divorces and finds his true love, but still remains true to his son. A lot of my questions were answered in this book that was not answered in the first two. I actually cannot wait to read the next one.
