This is an uplifting and beautiful story about one girl who learns how blessings can come even at the most unlikely of times and in the strangest of ways. Annika is struggling to come to terms with her little brother's cancer and balance her belief in a God and his apparent indifference to her and her family. It's a bittersweet journey for her, not everything turns out the way she wants it to. But if I've learned anything in my life, it's that those are the times that define us. I loved every second of it. I'll certainly be checking out more of Rallison's work.
