This turned out to be a quick read, and enjoyed the stories very much. The author obviously adores his dogs, and has little patience for anyone who doesn't fell the same, and rightly so considering the dogs that find him. The eerie part is how the story begins and ends with two of the greatest disaster in my lifetime, 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, (oddly enough the name of one of Foster's found dogs.)
