** spoiler alert ** Terry Goodkind

Try to imagine , waking up one morning and discover that everything that you held dear, loved - the most important thing in your life suddenly seized to exist or was just a figment of your imagination.

Another work of art from Terry Goodkind, Chainfire, is about Richard Rahl's quest to find his wife Kahlan Amnell who suddenly disappeared from his life and it would seem to the world.

We follow his quest as he finds the love of his life and battle struggles as he try to convince everyone in his life that she exist and not just a figment of his imagination. Reading this book also unravels a dark plot by the sisters of the dark by igniting the Chainfire spell that puts the whole world at risk.

--It was nice to be lured in again to the world of Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell. By reading this book we see the glimpse of how Terry Goodkinds intends to end this magnificent series and the final struggles that the lead characters will have to go through in order to defeat the Imperial Order and finally get to have the freedom that they have been dreaming of.

Although Richard love for Kahlan is undeniable - a part of me wants the Richard and Nicci love angle to also flourish. Is it possible to love two people at the same time? We saw how much devoted Richard is to Kahlan and how his love for her transcends in space and in time. But I cannot help but wonder what if he also felt the same way for Nicci. There are several instances where we find Richard admiring Nicci's beauty, grace and her spirit. I guess I was wishing that with Kahlan lost somewhere, something would spark between Richard and Nicci.

This is probably one of my favorite books amongst the sword of truth series.

Quotes Mhela Liked

Terry Goodkind
“Love is a passion for life shared with another person. You fall in love with a person who you think is wonderful. It's your deepest appreciation of the value of that individual, and that individual is a reflection of what you value most in life. Love, for sound reasons, can be one of life's greatest rewards.”
Terry Goodkind, Chainfire
