Wow what a tale ... almost hard to beleive it is true. I loved and hated the parents ... how can that be?

Dee-Ann started reading ... very addictive.

Dhitri I feel you! When I put down the book I had mixed feelings towards her crazy parents. Yes, they were eccentric, egotistical, borderline maniacs, absolutely reckless and lacks the kind of responsibility you would expect from adults their age! But at the same time there is no doubt of their love for their children. And maybe love was enough to nourish the children on, proven by how well most of them turn out to be...

Maggie I totally agree with the mixed feelings towards the parents. Overall I think I disliked them more than liked them because of their selfishness, especially the mother who wasn't a drunk, just self absorbed.
