Quick read. A rich rancher's daughter in Mexico in the 1940s must go to the CA and work as picker. A character driven novel that was all about growing up and making the best of your situation.

I wonder what people would say about this book in regards to the AZ Immigration law, because it talks about the stories behind the people who have immigrated here.
