This was Sarah Pekkanen's first book. Bravo to her on a job well done! I would certainly like to read other books that she writes.

Lindsey and Alex are twins. Lindsey is the smart one who has gone to college and been very successful at the advertising company in NYC where she works. Alex is the pretty one who dropped out of community college and makes her living as a model. Lindsey has always lived in the shadow of Alex. A major event occurs at work and when Lindsey's world implodes she returns home to Maryland and home. While living with her parents and helping prepare for her sister's wedding Lindsey begins to learn things about herself which don't fit the life that she had mapped out for herself. Along with this, she discovers things that she never knew about her sister. She is so tired of the competition and always having others pay attention to her sister and turn away from her. Will this always be the case or will she find that perhaps they have more in common than she has thought?

Anita Johnson I liked this so much I didn't want it to end but I have requested her next, Skipping a Beat at the library.

Ruth I hadn't heard about Skipping a Beat. I will have to add it to my long list! I am enjoying An Irish Country Courtship.

Anita Johnson We're snowed in and I'm loving it although I don't have a novel to sink into. I do have Nora Ephron's "I Don't Remember A Thing" which probably will be entertaining. I hope you're feeling good.
