A generally enjoyable read, if nothing else. I found Julia to be progressively less likable; by the end of the book I found her to be downright obnoxious. But she did have an interesting life and her stories were fun to hear tell of despite her. Her "ghostwriter" (re: actual author of the book) struck the balance of Julia's voice shine through and making a work that was actually pretty good in-and-of itself.
