I waited and waited and waited for this book to come available at the library, and it was completely worth the wait. It was heart-breaking, and funny, and honest, and everything else that my fellow gushing reviewers claim it to be. The stories of Aibileen, Minny and Skeeter truly illustrated how as a gender, we women have the power both to tear one another apart or raise one another up. LOVED IT!

My Mom and I played our fun little game that we do with all our favorite books of trying to cast the movie version - so far we have Viola Davis for Aibileen, Chandra Wilson for Minny and Katherine Heighl for Skeeter - thoughts??
