OMFG!! And with the closing of this book, I immediately had the question "what shall I read next?" answered, because I think I will die if I don't start on The Amber Spyglass like, right NOW.

Oh goodness me. I found this second part a little slower to get into - still interesting, but not as amazing and gripping... yeah, it sure picked up. The stealing back of the alethiometer had me on the edge of my seat, holding my breath. Sweet jesus that was intense!

Also, I am still in love with Serafina Pekkala and like half the other witches. The witches are awesome and make my soul happy.
