did not like it

Definitely one of the worst books I have ever read. I tried it because friends have read it for their book clubs. Whom are they kidding? The word "vomit" does not belong in a book based on one by Jane Austen. I find it hard to believe that there are discussion questions at the back of the book (which I will not finish after reading the first half). One question asks: "Some scholars believe that the zombies were a last minute addition to the novel, requested by the publisher in a shameless attempt to boost sales. Others argue that the hordes of living dead are integral to Jane Austen's plot and social commentary. What do you think?" Oh please. I guess this means I won't be reading "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter," either.

Linda Your review made me laugh. The pretentions of money-grubbing books have hit a new low, it seems "zombies integral to Austen's social commentary". Who writes this stuff?
