it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy, fantastical-realism, recommended
Read from December 18 to 27, 2012

Fantastical. Painful. Magical. Raw. The story of growing up in an unscripted, non-storybook world, even when you enter the story. The story of a realizing no place will fulfill you, when you take yourself to every place you go. The story of growing up, with all its confusion, self-destruction, self-loathing, and scraping to find meaning. The story of learning to live with yourself. Excellent, excellent read.

(Caveat: It's a frank book in its SC and its consequences.)
