** spoiler alert ** I wish there was more to the Stone of Tears that's in the title of this book. It seems like a powerful magic that is not fully revealed. Why does it change color when touched by a wizard's tear? How does it work? What did Richard do in the Garden of Life with it? Maybe the answers are in another book and I don't remember those details.

This time I noticed something with the knowledge of what's to come... Are all these people already affected by dreams? First the people who were going to attack the Mud People, then even Prindin. I wonder why Prindin wasn't protected, since he has met Richard? I guess his bond to Richard wasn't strong.

Upon another re-read, I noticed something that was never picked up in the book: one of the Sisters of the Dark gave a task to go into the armory, get the points of old swords that have been used in battle, and craft something out of them. Did I just dream that happened?
