it was amazing
bookshelves: things-they-made-me-read-in-school, so-nice-i-read-it-twice

The beginning of an obsession with WWII/holocaust literature. I read this at a young age and LOVED it. I believe this is when I began referring to WWII as "my favorite war"--which is totally creepy and inappropriate.

sdw This was actually also my favorite (or among my favorite) of that genre of children's literature that ought to be known as little girls and the holocaust literature.
