I wanted to love this book, but I didn't. I blame my mother.

You see, even when I was a young and comparatively foolish child, I had very little in common with Peter—or the Darling children, for that matter, who flew off into the night with nary a thought for how upset their parents would be.

My mother taught me at a very young age always to concern myself with HER feelings, above all else.

Nana was my favorite part of this book. Dear old Nana.
