Wow, just wow. Someone on twitter said this book was an economics lesson and I agree. But also a five-minutes-in-the-future (which to me makes in still speculative fiction, but not scifi) vision of how video games and the Internet connect people all around the world and how those connections might be put into use to change the world. I enjoy Docotorow's prose, dense, but not so dense that you lose the feeling that he's talking directly to you.
