I totally agree with you- although I think the spin off may be about Adrian. I really hope Richelle focuses more on Dimitri and Rose in the Last Sacrifice.

I agree with you completely. The story has been good, but when Rose and Dimitri were seperated in Shadow Kiss, the series kinda depressed me. I mean it's all in good book making I know, but Rose and Dimitri's love is a love I think any woman in her right mind would want. I would love to see Rose and Dimka fight side by side to handle what needs to be done. As far as the name I have no clue! I mean it really could be anything. I think it is a sacrifice on Roses part. Throughout all of the books who has sacrificed, Rose. For Lissa, Dimitri, and even Mason. Oh man..if this book ends poorly, I will prob like feel an empty void. Ridiculus to feel this way about a book? Absoloutley. Am I ashamed? Heck no. :P

Yeah, the story is not as interesting to me when Dimitri is not in it or if Rose/Dimitri are separated. Yeah, I am fearful of this book b/c if it these two don't end up together I think it would ruin the whole series for me... yeah it sucks to be this into books- oh well- Dec 7th can't come fast enough- please Richelle get the ending right... we want the fairy tale ending with love conquering all!

My theory:
If you read Spirit bound you will notice the emphasis it put on the spirit, making Adrian go nuts. Like saying he's more in dream than reality and his aura changing and I think because of him packing in drinking an smoking he is slowly losing grips on what is real and what is reality. Especially at the end when they say about how his spirit was losing control after the queens death. It also mentions Sonya's situation quite a lot. How Sonya couldn't cope with the spirit and the insanity and turned strigoi on purpose. I think this will happen to Adrian because it's obvious he's losing grips on reality and the queen's death has just pushed him further. What do you think?

By the way I honestly believe Richelle Mead will not let us down with the final book. Dimitri and Rose will get their happily ever after, because let's face it, they've sacrificed there own happiness for others right throughout the series and when the finally realise they should pu themselves first for once tragedy happens. They have a second chance at love and there hearts belong to each other. They will be happy in the end, i'm sure of it.

I think Adrian succumbing to the effects of Spirit is a good guess. I could see it happening. Either way I am glad you all want the same thing...Rose and Dimitri to have their happy ending. I do believe that Richelle Mead will give the fans what they want. I do not think there is anything wrong being so wrapped up in a book series. Reading is my escape and I love it.

I don't know about the last book i think it will have something we don't expect. I think that it will be the ultimate test of freindship between Lissa and Rose cause I mean in Spirit Bound Rose was sorta of selfish, I mean she knew how Lissa felt about Victor but Rose didn't care and as much as she loves Lissa she loves Dimitri more. I think losing Victor might come back to haunt Lissa and Rose but also Rose was very jealous of Lissa when Dimitri ask only for her and when Lissa told her that she was doing more hurting then helping to Dimitri at court. I also think that Adrain is going crazy but I really hope that doesn't happen. Through all of Roses' adventures he has been helpful, supportive and I think he really does love Rose. I just hope that there will be a happy ending for him if Rose chooses Dimitri.

i loved spirit bound but there was sooooo much going on its like shes trying to smoosh the story into these last two books.... i also hate the fact that dimitri and rose arent together and just with his attitude in spirit bound i wish this book was out already!!!

im going to died if dimitri and roza are not togther by the end of the books it will kill me then i have to go back to fanfichan and find the happy ending i wunt at the end of the books

Im torn over who I think killed the queen. I think it was either adrians mum- daniela or tasha. Both have a reason for setting rose up. Daniela seems okay about her sons relationship with rose, but it could be a lie, would she really be okay with her only son dating a dhampir, maybe shes planning to get rid of christian too, leaving both lissa and adrian heartbroken, hoping this will bring them together, if lissa is going to be queen, then daniela would be happy with her son being married to her, a few points in the book made me think that, like when rose argued with lissa and dimitri, when they were with hans trying to prove he was dhampir again, rose stormed off to her room, and bumped into daniela. where had she been? she could of been on her way back from roses room herself, after stealing her stake. Then later, why did she seem so determined for rose to use damon as her lawyer instead of abe, maybe theyve plotted to lose the case, and daniela knows abe, his reputation and the way he seems to get what he wants, now shes scared. Then theres tasha, who wanted dimitri to be her guardian/husband/father to her baby, etc... maybe she blames rose for dimitri turning her down, there is alot of people who dont like the ozeras, dimitri wasnt one of them though. maybe she thinks he is her only chance of being a wife and mother, and is thinking she'll have her way if rose isnt around. who knows, they both seem like good reasons to me. Im sure dimitri and rose will be together in the end. richelle wouldnt of created such a lovely love story if it wasnt meant to be. As for adrian, Ive no idea, think he'll either die in some way to `sacrifice` his self for rose. or he'll get with sydney- she did say he was cute. I hope they do get together, then they can be in the spin-off series. I also wonder if something lissa did to dimitri when she saved him means he could have a child with rose, nobody knows what spirit magic is capable of. It would be a great ending to see rose and dimitri with a baby, like he's always wanted.
