i'm not even going to attempt to write a review for this book because karen's review is so awesome. so read hers. suffice it to say it's a great book.

karen ha! best review ever!

there are actually a bunch of good reviews of this book on here: d'pow and jason's are great, too.

but, yeah, mostly mine...

i'm glad you liked it! i have three more of his books i am considering, but they look more like noir thrillers than this one, so i dunno what to do.

Bill just doing my bit to get you elected queen of the universe.

there was some pretty brutal violence in this book, but his writing is so beautiful that i would imagine anything he wrote would be worth reading.

karen yeah, i need to do more research because there is a recurring character, and if i am going to read them, i want to read them in order.

the universe is listening...

Alan yep Karen's review made me go down the library and order it, but somehow first time round they sent the wrong book. I recently re-ordered it & picked it up last week, but my wife's pinched it to read first.

karen ha! women...

Alan she couldn't put it down as they say..
All hail QoU.

karen well, i hope you like it as much as everyone else seems to. it seems to be an across-the-board literary crowd-pleaser.
