It was a sweet and entertaining introduction to a fun series! I'v enjoyed how clearly she writes the mysterious New Orleans city, giving it the romantic spin that I can imagine it myself. Being an avid scrapper myself, I'm thrilled to read a series about my favorite hobby. Beyond my simple love of the scrapbooking, I love the main character, Carmela, for her smarth thinking and her polite ways. But also, she is so human! Though she is separated from her husband, it's nice to see a woman character still in love and has feelings for her once was husband. Her best friend, Ava, is the kind of character a lot of authors put in as the main character but it's nice to see the "man eater" take a back burner as soft, sweet, charming Carmela takes center stage. I'm excited to read the rest of the series.
