50th PAGE EVAL: Interesting concept. I was a bit lost with all the synonyms. Curious about the mystery plot
PLOT: People can create exact copies of themselves (Dittos). These copies last only 24 hours and their impressions may or may not be downloaded back to their owner. Albert Morris is a detective and with the help of his dittos, a very successful one. One of Albert dittos is nearly annihilated by Beta. After that Albert takes a case the disappearance of Yosil Maharal. Al creates 3 dittos. The story unfolds following the adventures of each one of them as well of the real deal
Ditto 1: aka Tuesday’s first gray :-> Goes to UK (Universal Kiln) and is taken by Ditto Maharal
Ditto 2 aka Tuesday’s gray number two ->: Goes to solve a case for Ginnen Wammaker. But is tricked and a bomb inserted inside him.. He is duped to go to UK, and the bomb almost destroys the manufacturing facilities
Ditto 3 aka greeny or franky. He is second class ditto, but finds he can think better than any of the grays (first class Dittos). He actually questions his existence
Ditto 4 is actually Real Albert.-> Goes in an expedition with Ritu to Yolsil’s country house.
SPOILER ; YosilDitto Killed Yosil and is trying to build a Glazier ( Soul Amplificator) to become super powerful. He has been using Albert dittos for experiments for a long time. The climax occurs when all functional dittos and realAl converge at the laboratories of Yosil where he is setting up his Glazer.
We find the truth about Beta, Yosil, and even Aeneas Kaolin. Franky saves everybody. Clare ends with two half Alberts – Real Albert with a fuse blown at the Glazier, and Franky in a new body that keeps the essence of Albert.
NOTES: Not a fluid read. Interesting universe that opens many discussions. The author not only has created its own universe has created words that are part of this Kiln-verse.
