I have mixed feelings. Anne can, on occasion, slip in lines or scenes or observations that are heart-melting. And her usual mixture of crazy and sweetness works for me. So it's not the approach, I think, but the subject matter of this book. Because it's not really so much about faith, as it is about little vignettes from her life, which from time to time haphazardly connect to faithyness. Which means that the heart-melting comes too seldom because the focus is so much on the crazy, and the sweetness is way too saccharine. The book just needs more of an anchor to give it some weight.
