I loved this book. Granted I was on some sort of spititual quest at the time. The book was all about Desire. In my mind that is what religion, spirituality is about. This longing, this inexplicable longing, that you find yourself (if you're human, if you're like me) fulfilling in all the wrong ways. I can't say I remember coming out of this book with any answers, but the shear relief & excitement in hearing someone else describe a critical part of my being, especially a man (who knew they experienced desire like this, too!) was worth the read. I've read a handful of his subsequent books as well, but they didn't seem the same as the first. could have to do with his co-author passing away after the first book.
