Joshua shouldn’t believe his lying friend Artie about anything, but a few loosely tied pieces of information lead the two boys and their friend Wolf Man to think that an elderly neighbor has killed and buried her husband.

The best thing about this book is the humor, which isn’t great, but which should appeal to younger teens, and especially boys. The plot is completely predictable, the characters are pretty flat, and few readers are really going to believe the premise.
