Okay. So this sounded like a good mystery, right? A not-in-the-right-state-of-mind FBI agent on a case he is supposed to leave alone teams up with a colorado veternarian still mourning for her murdered husband and they uncover a diabolical medical conspiracy. Good mystery right? So I grab it off the clearance rack. SURPRISE! The first chapter we find that little kids have super powers and wings. I was looking for something dark and thrilling from Patterson. I made it 70 pages and can't do this any more. Don't hide the sci-fi with the mysteries.

One thing that was interesting to me was that each chapter was told in the first person from the point of view of the major character of that particlar chapter. That was new to me and could be interesting.
