really liked it

Read from May 27 to 29, 2010 — I own a copy

A fun and exciting little graphic novel with cool characters, crazy fights and a super fast pace. The only reason it isn't a 5 is because it doesn't feel, well, FULL in a way. It's longer than The Unwritten, which i just read, but it feels empty compared to the way that book flips your ideas and notions about a fantasy novel on its head. Not that The Umbrella Academy is dumb, but it's just your normal superhero save the world plot. But it did enough for me to want to read Volume 2.
