Finished this book in a less than 24 hour period. Truly an easy read, but thoroughly enjoyable. The story follows a group of women, all widows, through about a year of their lives. At one gathering, they decide to write down 20 wishes...not goals, just things they wish they had or wish that they could do. These wishes are incorporated into the year of this story. It's a feel-good book. Yes, it's sappy....Yes, it's fairly predictable....However, for all its sappiness and predictability, the story is heartwarming and very sweet. I'm glad that the Easy Readers chose this book for our club. Thanks to Iris! There's nothing wrong with a feel-good book every now and then.
