really liked it

Suspend your disbelief at the door and if you can do that you will enjoy the love story between Galen and Lucy. I can only give "A Twist in Time" 3.5 stars because it has everything, including the kitchen sink. It has Leonardo Davinci's book and a time machine. It has a Viking warrior, magic, time travel, ecology and the changing roles of women. But, we also have two flawed indiviuals from different worlds trying to come to terms with their current circumstances and each other and that is the part that really works. Galen the big Viking Warrior who has been injured in battle must come to terms with the fact that he must rely on Lucy. Lucy must fight her attraction to Galen in order to figure out how to keep them safe and get Galen home to his own time. They get to know each other through their need to communicate and understand their language differences and their culture. This is where the book works, their journey to communicate with each other also leads them on a road to self discovery and love.
