Tragic angst. Uplifting. Reminded me why I am happy to never re-live my teenage years. Reminded me that teenagers are children. Unformed brains struggling to find their place, their perspective, their role in their own lives.

Excellent narrator -- she made it sound like the voice in my head, but more eloquent, and with a better vocabulary. Very well done. Right up my alley. A nice contrast to the goody-two-shoes characters that always make the right choices in the face of life and death challenges, and despite a lack of parental supervision. I LOVE deeply flawed characters that make humiliating mistakes and bad choices and keep on going, because they have no other choice.
