I am a late comer to this series, and after all the great reviews, I still had reservations. However; my book quest kept leading me back to this series. It wasn't until one of my favorite "GOODREADS" friends showed sooo much enthusiasm over these books that I decided to take the plunge. I'm so glad I did. (Thanks Amy)
J.R. Ward has absolutely captivated me with her beautiful writing, creativity, and her descriptions. I have savored every word of this series. My emotional grid went into overload in this book.
John Matthew has been twisting my heart into knots since he first appeared in the second book. Through all of his struggles and self discovery he turns out to be an awesome male. And how deserving that he finally finds his happiness.
What can I say about Xhex except that I just love her!! Just a fabulous Kick-Ass heroine. I really developed the love for her in Lover Avenged, when she slipped up on Montrag and showed us her skills as a an assassin.
What a beautiful story that has been told here, and I loved every minute of John and Xhex saving each other!!!
I can't wait for the next book. I find Payne very interesting, I love the kick-ass attitude she's gonna bring forth in the next book. I liked the friendship she has been building with Wrath. And as if Vishous needs someone else to worry over.
This book is NOT to be missed!!!!

I can see it coming, from the last book. I finally made it, although I'll be sad and probably need a major brain scrub when I'm done. When's the next book come out?? LOL!!

OMG, Pam my emotional grid was in overdrive throughout this book, I'm sad there's no more to read right now!!Now my favorite BDB book as well, Lover Avenged was pretty awesome too. I loved the whole series, will read again and again!!

It did that to a lot of us!! I was so bummed for like two weeks when it was done, and couldn't read anything else hahaha
. I think she is the best heroine of this serie! She is soooo brave!
