it was amazing

I've been hearing about Killer Angels for quite some time and I finally picked it up. I'm glad I did. It certainly puts that drivel that Newt Gingrich tried to foist on us to shame. This was a book with passion, feeling, and a complete grasp of the battlefield through the eyes of its generals and colonels that day, so many years ago when we fought each other for the fate of our nation. This short novel took me to that day in a way no class, textbook, or story has to date.

Do yourselves a favor and read this, even if you've never cared about the Civil War. It's worth it.
