** spoiler alert ** Well, since the fall of the Soviet Union there had to be a new enemy for the US.

Otherwise an entire industry of adventure novelists would be on the unemployment line.

Following in the footsteps of similar novels, this time we go after Iran. Well, it is about time. But once again (well, the last ime it was real life) we (or at least the author) anticipates that a good regime will emerge from the ashes of a totalitarian government.

We all know what happened the last time that we expected that! [See: any history book of the invasion of Iraq.]

A fun read, and, as always, the good guys win. Not really a spoiler, but hey, some folks get upset at the obvious.
