Valley of Silence (Circle Trilogy, #3)
by Nora Roberts
by Nora Roberts
And so I'm done with this trilogy, and I agree with every single person who said this was a good idea that needed building on. Because it is an excellent idea, and I think it's one of the more interesting plot lines that Nora Roberts has ever tackled, but everything happened way too quickly for the epic scope of it. She didn't think some of the ideas through very well.
Also, I'm kind of getting tired of the way every single male character is the same in all of these stories. Like every man alive is the same. They all punch people instead of expressing emotion, and they'd all rather take a bullet in the chest than tell someone (not the chick they're in love with, though sometimes them too) that they love them. Cian and Hoyt are a case in point, but since I just reread the Quinn brothers trilogy, it brings them to mind as well.
But hey, whatever. I choose to read these things, I have to live with the consequences.
