Well written "parable" of graphic novel/comics industry. Likable characters in a sometimes surreal setting. Plenty of inside jokes for fans of the genre. Overall a fun, well paced story. Narrative gets a little muddy at times in that there are several instances where foreshadowing and expository info is delivered through comics that "real time" characters are reading. The sudden shifts in time have a weirdly disorienting effect (but in a good way).
