A complex and thoroughly postmodern novel. A PhD student finds a "cursed" book. Examinations of what a curse is, what language is, what the world around us is made of. Thomas delves (if shallowly) into Derrida, Heidegger, literary criticism, philosophy, particle physics, love, sex, kink, homeopathy, and the morality of lab rats.

This book is lovely. It is like a half drunk conversation when you are 21 and high on new ideas.
