** spoiler alert **

While reading the book "Prom" by Laurie Halse Anderson, i noticed a lot of things. Annitating the text was very easy because none of the characters in this book were mysterious. Ashley is the main character in this book, she is very calm, and is never affected by anything in her school. The only reason she ever cared about her prom was because of her friends. When her teacher takes the prom money, all hell breaks loose. No one knows what to do and everyone was already very excited.

Ashley and her math teacher are very similar, both get arrested. Looking through the book, i saw that all of Ashley's friends are the same. They are all crazily excited for prom! While looking through the text, i see that sometimes the author will out her quotes from other people speaking into a weird fashion, which she repeats.

I wondered why the author would try to make Ashley learn her lesson, but at the end, when re-reading, i understood that in the beginning, Ashley wasn't complete, she didn't like her life and appreciate as much as she did at the end. At the end, she seemed so much more happy
