After being sold to a cruel couple in New York City, a slave named Isabel spies for the rebels during the Revolutionary War.

It took me a while to get into the story -- a good 100 pages. Despite that, I found the history fascinating. I find Isabel and her friend Curzon interesting enough that I'd be curious to see what happens in the sequel.
