It will be curious to see what happens when the exchange über alles people have actually read the book. Having said that, many thanks for writing this, and tying all of this together.

I am sad to say that you're wrong about payday loans, though -- the maximum annualized rate is nearer 250-600%.

I wrote some software for a payday loan business once. It was seriously soul-sucking work! I had to stop eventually, just couldn't bear to be involved in that awfulness anymore.
Thank you for writing this book. As a college student, I wasn't aware of the affect on social relations that debt brings. Truly revolutionized my perspective. I'm immensely grateful for shedding light on the shadows that have affected my life.
