really liked it
bookshelves: 2010-reads, my-books
Read from October 09 to 12, 2010

I don't read post apocalyptic books that often. But this one is convincing and has really unexpected twists and turns.
It is a story about a disaster and the impact of life. It is without a wagging finger.

Jackie The write up makes it sound preachy. Was it?

edifanob Jackie,
the book is not preachy. It delivers a different view of what could happen after a disaster and the reasons for the disaster.

I'm sorry for my misleading words.

Jackie No, not your words, the write up on the book itself, at the end it says: "This story poses some interesting ecological questions we should be asking ourselves. In a time when the planet is on a precipice and man is poisoning his own environment, destruction could be right around the corner."

Those two sentences turned me off. I'd like to read your full review and see if what you think. All too often the write ups that are published are either inaccurate or misleading.
